Sharing medical records
- As your GP we can share your medical records with other health care professionals. When for example another doctor or pharmacy needs your medical records to provide you with efficient, adequate and safe care.
Sharing of medical records is realized by the LSP. But only when you give permission for this. Through the link www.volgjezorg.nl you can read all the information about the process and how to give (online) permission.
Scientific research and innovation
As a general practice we are connected to the Academic Network of General Practice Medicine (ANH) of Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc. In this network we work together with general practitioners, researchers and teachers on scientific research and on innovation of care and medical education. This is important to us: it increases our knowledge and helps to improve general practitioner medical care.
What does this mean to you?
Participation in our practice at the ANH means that data about the care provided to our patients is used on an anonymous basis for scientific research and for improving the quality of care. It is also possible that we invite our patients to participate in a scientific study at the ANH without obligation.
